You could add $ to the end of the expression to fix the security risk mentioned above. So it looks like:
.*(\.[Jj][Pp][Gg]|\.[Gg][Ii][Ff]|\.[Jj][Pp][Ee][Gg]|\.[Pp][Nn][Gg])$
